Found this old photo the other day and thought that it might be of interest.  It is of our old Nantucket Clipper "Tarka"  off Fairlie, on the Clyde, probably  in the 1980s. I remember being dropped in the dinghy and nearly being run over!!  I loved that boat!!

Lovely, indeed, and, due to aged photo, something of romantics...
In mine opinion, despite the fact I owe a Mk.II, she has no age, an evergreen deeply so basic & effective sailing boat.

Thank you, @colneclipper, and @masterguido.I was only about 20 when I took this from the dinghy. It was one of these golden evening.....I should have a couple more.......somewhere......😊😊 if I come across them, I will post, if they are any good.. I think her sail number might have been c345, does anyone know where she is now?

Try looking in the OYCOA archive newsletters, she may be mentioned there, what was she called?

Oh... wrecked....That is sad.  It just shows that even these tough boats are at risk near the hard ground ..:-)
