Hi OYCOA,

My friend recently got a Halcyon 23 free of charge. The old lady needs a lot of work.

One of the bigger issues is that the previous owner unfortunately lost the rudder at sea.

The plan is to make a new one from scratch, so I have been searching for drawing.

The only drawings I have been able to find are from http://sailboatdata.com/viewrecord.asp?class_id=3651, which are not exactly technical drawings.

I was hoping somebody here would be in possession of some or could guide me in the right direction [smile]

It is the fin keeled version.

Unlikely you will find any drawings, if you can find another boat near you use hardboard and make a profile outline, the dimensions you can write down, failing that a shipwright should be able to make a profile for you or maybe someone on here will profile Theirs to paper and send it to you.

My rudder is a little different from most that I've seen pics of and is triple keeled. Happy to photograph it for you if that's any help?
