It took me two months.I started with the profile and plan views on SailboatData, and photos, to get out a believable set of lines. I used the “Lifts” of solid wood for the hull and cabin. The fun part was using material for the right look for the spars, ports, etc...(brass, sheet plastic,etc).

hmmm perhaps we can persuade you to do one or 2 of the nantucket clipper?!

Yes, I’d be interested in building a model of your Clipper.It would help if you had the line and construction drawings, but I can work without them. The more pictures of your boat the better, though, for lines and details.
I couldn’t start the model till late next (Northern) summer. I would need to know how big you’d like the model. Bear in mind I would be shipping her from the USA. She’d be a bit pricey, as it will be two or three months in the build.

Thanks Jack, You may be aware that we are having a OYCOA Rally in the Netherlands this summer, i'll bring up the subject with the other clipper owners and see what drawings we have....
