Hi Enst it sure does make a difference, i was undecided if i should give it a higher cut i decided not to so there is a small overlap when beating, however on a beam wind its great!

Lovely - and a beautiful boat. My Vagabond (Halcyon 27 in Barcaldine near Oban Scotland) is still for sale but I too have snugged her down ashore for the winter. But if anyone is interested do get in touch - johngosling42@hotmail.com. Happy Christmas to everyone! JG
