Fantastic looking H27 just appeared on ebay going by the name of "Moon". Looks like a lot of work has been bestowed upon her. Asking price of £14000. "Idris" may turn out to be a wise investment yet!

People can ask what they like, but it's only worth what someone is willing to pay

Indeed. I would be very surprised if it makes anything like the asking price but it's good to see people still appreciate a classic design. Good luck to the fella, he's keeping our average boat values up with his misplaced optimism if nothing else.

It does seem that you can get a really well looked after example for around £7000 these days. This was certainly the case when I was looking for one and I believe Skirmisher still has his for sale at about that price. Maybe Moon has some really, really nice cushions.

Throughout my working life, I have seen many commercial vessels ( mainly tugs as that's my main work) sit on the market for a long time because of severe over values. I think moon is going to be on the market for a very long time, unless a fool comes along 🤡🤡
